What is Domain Therapy?
Domain Therapy is a software developed to speed the track of the domains i have, expiration dates, etc
Is fully automated?
Not but near. Currently you need do around 1 to 2 clicks for each domain of Supported TLDs. In near future, will be automatic. Competitors need some clicks too
Have u a Linux Version?
Not Needed. Currently is a PHP Script Running Under Cpanel.
What programming language ?
Php 4 now, But in the past, Visual Basic 6 come as a obvious solution for me because before have serious problems with some domains i have, and made a Powerful HTML editor. Really Domain Therapy is only The "Module" of domains of my html editor. I paired that with other software i have in development and function well. The html maker need version 6, and no work with 5 or 4 or .net, then i use VB6 SP6
Have Domain Therapy automatic alarms when change status of the domains?
This option become available in per pay Basis soon, i am currently making a BETA for that
What Database are u using?
Currently is a MYSQL. Function in other databases, but have limitations. Exist an MS-Access Version but have inherent limitations, and dont function well with my main module, the site html editor. Anyway, because the trigger limitations in mysql, and the php plans, in the future probably only function in mysql and mssql. Access can be changed for MSDE
Why use Domain Therapy and not other Online software?
Domain Therapy is focused in some easy principles all other software have not. We want know and change batch changes, and powerful filters , and all in one screen only.
Function with all registrars and extensions?
No but function well with many important registrars, and the usual extensions (com net org info cc). Some Registrars Not get the name, but work ok the Fetch ( dates, nameservers, etc ). I not want put all the Snapnames/Namescout Babies registrars, but support many of the common ones. The script was tested in the variety of registrars, around 800 and growing.
Some Registrars supported?
Enom, Reseller Club, Namesdirect, Fabulous, Godaddy , Moniker, Mydomain.com, Blue Razor, Name.com , Tucows, Dynadot
Registrars with problems?
Only in secondary Modules. In one of the beta modules name.com/domainsite.com can get only the registry info and cant save the registrar info. Network Solutions com and net, if they have not privacy protect, Dont function well. netfirms and Tucows are slower, and domain site only allow 10 querys daily or less.
Extensions with problems?
Because i am focused In SPEED, the autofetch feature only function in com net org info mobi tv cc and some others. Us and biz get nameservers but no dates. .NAME domains have a really really really STUPID implementation, and in a next version go to manage them in totally different manner. I plan allow Update yourself in manual way, the same as .es . ar and .bz country extensions of SPAIN, ARGENTINA and BELIZE with not use whois server, and give you an option for edit ccTlds Domains.
I not see much interest at the moment in .co.uk TLD, then i not support for now.
Do u plan make localized version of software?
Yes. Currently is only in english, but domainers normally speak english, then, no real need for that.
